Great Afternoon Hike At Kennesaw Mountain

It was a very HOT afternoon hike at Kennesaw Mountain, but I really enjoyed it and got a great workout.  Here are some pictures from the hike and they are clickable to see full version.

Met a friend this morning to see the sunrise on top of Stone Mountain.  It was a beautiful morning although a little chilly and breezy.  The view does not get old.

Beautiful Day For Climbing Stone Mountain

It was a beautiful day climbing Stone Mountain.  It was the first day back up since recovering from my foot pain and Plantar Fasciitis

Great Way To Start Sunday Climbing Stone Mountain To See The Sunrise!

I did not think I was going to climb Stone Mountain this morning, but I woke up early and could not fall back to sleep, so off I went and it was a great way to start the day!

Amazing View Of The Sunset From Stone Mountain And Then The Laser Show! Awesome!

What a great way to end the day with a hike up the Granite in Stone Mountain with my friend Lisa and then see the laser show.  The sunset was amazing!

Climbed Stone Mountain

I initially lived in Atlanta from 1992-2005 and just moved back to Atlanta in January 2017.  I never climbed Stone Mountain until this past Wednesday July 5th. Wow, what a view from the top!  It took me about 25 minutes to hike up.  Below is a video and pictures.  I plan on going back up this coming weekend to see the the sunrise and will post those photos then.
