Day 11 - Everyday In May Challenge

I decided to sleep a little later this morning (7 AM)-LOL. I was not sure where I wanted to ride, so I decided to ride over to A1A along the ocean. It was a bit breezy. Stopped along the way and of course people were asking me about the EllitiGO. I then looked at the Ocean and cracked up. There was a couple there looking out to the Ocean and a tractor blocked their view. Was very funny. They had the entire beach to sit at and this is what they had to look at. The tractor did finally move. All in all, it was a nice ride and good workout! Result: 22.79 miles. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Day 10 - Everyday In May Challenge

Day 10 ride took me on a different route to mix it up to a park in West Boca. Riding over there was nice, no wind issues. Rode around the park and enjoyed the view and passed groups of cyclists along the way. The way back was a bit tougher as I rode into the winds, but a bit windy. All in all ist was a nice ride and good workout! Result: 24.61 miles.

Day 8 - Every Day In May Challenge

Day 8 ride was a nice one. The sunrise was fantastic. The winds were not to bad thank goodness. My back was bothering me a bit during hte ride, so I stopped a couple of times, so I stopped to stretch which helped. Coming back I rode through a school zone and I had to slow down :). Love speed. Result: 31.28 miles.

Day 7 - Everyday In May Challenge

Day 7 started with my annual physical, so I got off to a late start. Interesting enough the Dr. said that my heart rate was lower than normal. I told her that I have been riding my ElliptiGO quite a bit. She said that was probably the reason why. It was a fairly windy ride, but a great workout non the less. The conditions were very comfortable. Result: 12.18 miles.

How My Elliptigo Journey Began

This is where my ElliptiGO journey began! This has been an incredible experience!

Day 4 - Everyday In May Challenge

Day 4 was a pretty good workout. The day started very cloudy and about 5 miles into my ride the sun came out. It was much cooler and far less humid than yesterday's ride. Result: 15.15 miles.

Day 3 - Everyday In May Challenge

Day 3 was a good hard ride. The humidity was very high to say the least! The winds were not too bad, but did he pockets of decent winds. I was hoping to see the sunrise, but it was to cloudy. The ride was an emotional one as well as it was 7 years ago today that I put my dog Sparky down. The first picture I took with him was January 1991 and the later picture was the day I put him down. He was an amazing dog. Result: 40.15 miles completed.

Met up with my friend Alex

Noxgear Tracer360 Saftey Vest

I got to wear the Noxgear Tracer360 vest for the first time. It is an incredible product.

Product Description

Run or cycle with maximum visibility wearing the lightweight (6.5 oz), intelligently illuminated and 3M reflective Tracer360 Visibility Vest. This is one of the most innovative and effective high viz safety vests available. The all-season/rain-proof design is ultra-comfortable, incredibly durable and adjustable to be worn over a t-shirt or your favorite cycling or running jacket. Perfect for night running, early morning bike commutes and everything in between. A headlamp or running light can't provide the type of eye-catching, 360° illumination of the Tracer360. Even the best reflectivity, on your running shoes to your high viz jacket, is only effective in the path of headlights. The Tracer360's unique, multi-color illumination modes are based on visual science and tailored to catch the attention of today's smart phone-distracted drivers. The vest uses two powerful, efficient CREE LEDs. The five dynamic illumination modes are software-controlled and combine flash, strobe and blink modulation across a variety of colors dramatically increasing visibility and safety. Also the Tracer360 includes six solid colors. It also works great as a PT belt. With superior breathability and minimal fabric-to-body contact the Tracer360 won't trap sweat. It also won't interfere with your hydration belt. Be ready to hit the road for your next nighttime run or evening bike ride in this powerfully illuminated and 3M reflective vest.
